PassionFly Makes Donation to TNC
Muddy River Project
Las Vegas - PassionFly, a Made in Nevada, eco-friendly, fine art stationery company, selected The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) Muddy River Project to receive its first business donation to help preserve that slice of wildness originating in the Moapa Valley. Founder-designer Anne Johnson elected to make a donation to celebrate her first year’s operation.
“TNC’s Muddy River Project is a perfect fit with our commitment to donate 10% of annual profits to U. S. wilderness conservation. Their collaborative* approach to restoring riparian habitat in ‘one of the most biologically rich areas in Nevada’ is an outstanding conservation model,” Johnson commented.
Acknowledging this donation is small relative to the vastness of the need for habitat protection, Johnson expressed hope that others will also choose to make a difference. "Community awareness of these precious resources, and sound business practices will contribute to habitat preservation,” she said.
